So it's been a while since I updated this thing. A lot has happened in my life.
I'm still sitting on commissions, i know, i know. I've done several but for some fucked up reason, NONE of my email programs will let me send the files to their recipients >_<
I got my job back and I'm doing very well with it. The company bought a smaller company and projects are flowing in nice and steady, so layoffs are the last thing on anyone's mind and there's a reliable rumor that there will be a significant pay raise in the near future.
And I am now single.
My ex-fiance and I are over. Long story short, 2 years ago, I had an affair with a then-friend. Obviously, I didn't tell the Boy about it and it fizzled after a few weeks anyway. The Boy found out about it while reading my journal and then asked a mutual friend if I had ever been with anyone else. She didn't exactly say yes or no, but apparently, her silence and Deer-in-headlights look was enough confirmation.
He's moving out of the apartment at the end of October, I'm staying here until at least January. But once he goes, so does my internet connection and cable TV, since they are both in his name and even if I work 40+ hours a week, there's no way I can afford even DSL or dial up. My parents are helping me pay half the rent once he leaves, so I actually CAN afford to live here, I just won't have any contact with the outside world except from my phone (which I have to get a new one, since that's also part of his phone plan).
So yeah. That's about it. I've been sleeping on the couch for the last 3 weeks when I'm not couch-surfing at friend's houses or my parent's place. I feel bad about leaving my bunny all alone, but the Ex has grown very fond of the lil guy and I figure they could use the bonding time while they have it.
I'll try to post as much art as I can before then end of October, and I hope to see lots of people at FurFright this year. Come hell or high water, I WILL be going to that damn con.

Forgot to tell you Sunday night, the bookcases fell through (someone else claimed them first)...I'm still looking for things, but I need a list of "things" you'll need. ANYTHING you need...you never know what turns up somedays, right?

I know T-Mobile offers them for around $20/month for unlimited data access (basically dialup) through an existing cell phone if you have a monthly plan with them, I have that feature Just In Case when I'm stuck in the boonies.
Just tryin' to think of any possible way to avoid ya' losin' all internet, since I was like "Yay! Turk updated! Nooo... she won't be around for a'while? =-.-="
