What programe you use?

Blender. i have see some impressive stuff to come off of it. its not Maya or 3ds max but it has a lot of power and potential and its free XP

YES! another Blender user! :D I mayself use it too, however I think I did it the hard way. by using MakeHuman to import the model then 'morphing' it to my likes, like so http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4877138/ it can be time consuming to do it that way but I have no other better idea yet lol

But keep progress posted! Im am curious to see other methods :D

im not sure thats the hard way because i have only been using it for a about a week now and the last time i touched and 3D software was 3 years ago so im relearning and learning a good deal of stuff. but i fine its real easy to make it from scratch (just using the cube) i like doing that it seems you have a lot of control i still have a good deal of stuff to look at and watch but the blender tutorials are like a gift form heaven XP most of them are easy to understand. a few of them they just go way to fast and dont explain anything but informative none the less. im probable going to post a screen shot in a few of model i made from a tutorial.

hmm, well after tinkering around with this new one for a while I have found it is slightly better than 2.49 in terms of organization and functionality. However I have to relearn everything cause I was so used to 2.49 xD but it overall is better, I just hate the Ctrl-R shortcut for loop and knife cuts x.x liked it being 'K' button, easy for my hand to tap at moments notice when needed (I literally do zone out and fire off keys without noticing, makes work go by faster xD)
I have post a journal similar to this one as well (doubt I will get any hits due to how non-popufur I am xD) to try my luck at finding references. Not even google was much help as I expected o_O

As for the online tutorials, alas I can not watch them due to stupid ISP and their shitty 25GB limit x.x and watching videos too far over 5min each really racks up the MBs somehow. Are there PDF files possibly with detailed images?

ok for the PDF stuff there is litte to be had out there, most are in video from (because people are lazy and done want to read) this web site http://gryllus.net/Blender/3D.html has PDF tutorales and this one http://silverjb.limewebs.com/index.html has a manual to 2.5 its not comprehensive but there is a lot there
