Inkbunny is becoming a lot more popular. Most people who set up an inkbunny account think it's set up better than FA is from what I've heard. It's also got a feature that lets you import your FA gallery onto the site, so you don't have to reupload everything you have. It will definitely get more popular as time goes on. There were a lot who went there after the scares of FA being hacked and people saying they were fed up with it (also the banning of cub art has made a lot move as well).

Seriously though, that FA import feature seems really handy. Plus I already prefer FA's setup to DA's, so if this is even better...worth considering further.

it has the most potential from what ive seen (just got my page up there too). as of now, though, it just comes across as limited in the "freespiritedness" area like dA or fA, opting for a more marketed approach for artists to get their work sold rather than just for viewing kicks.

Well if it's bit more profitable I'm all for that. If there's one thing this fandom lacks in it's the good business sense that would allow it to truly thrive.

Given there have been other furry sites come and go in the past, as well as art sites.... can't say. It's been there several months, but it seems FA and DA are still the leaders in the community.

Yeah, that's my worry. Art sites pop up all the time but rarely do they offer any real stiff resistance to the reigning kings.

i have an account on here and there and elsewhere...its best if you expand to as many sites as you can...the more sites you are on, the more you are known.

That's true, but at the same time I need to be on the "best" sites I can, in that I have to balance my time between life, art, and marketing.

Inkbunny is a good site...I like how much more intuitive it is than here. and the masses are beginning to flock to it i have heard. but FA has been around a long time, you should try Inkbunny for awhile to see if you like it anyway. it probably wouldn't hurt to for just a little while.

I'm on there. It's pretty neat but there's not many people there yet, and yeah... pedo does get a lot more attention than anything else.

Since Inkbunny is new it is still small, but expanding quickly. While it true they do not ban mature renderings of cub art, they have a really good filter so if you do not want to see that stuff, you wont.

To be honest, IB feels a lot more professionally done that FA does.

They has such a great plan for artists to sell their prints and downloads online and help pay for their site upkeep which was promptly destroyed by alertpay. Followed by the the pedo flood, that we can also blame on alertpay. I haven't posted anything new there in a while.

Inkbunny is a good site with alot of potential and they are updating the site all the time. The only reason why there is alot of cub right now is because it got banned from FA before many other artists moved there. Now it has a reputation for cub but I am shure that will change as the site grows and other good artists move in. Give it a shot.

I like the order prints feature. You can have people order prints directly from the site set your own prices inkbunnies fees are cheap and you get the profit. the quality is good too.

Not related, but are you going to be at FWA again this year? I wanted to get a print of your Green Lantern ferret. It was just that awesome.

I always saw it like Twitter to Facebook (IB:FA). Yeah its cool and trendy and full of questionable material, but the people you know there are only shells of who they really are. But then again, those shells have cash, and from a business perspective I rank as maybe one of the major secondary sites out there. Its better than a Denny's diner, but it sure as hell isn't The Olive Garden of the fandom (unless C.P. is measured in bread sticks).

Absolutely adore IB. The interface is so much better than FA, the administrators actually keep the users informed about what's going on behind the scenes, and shit gets updated (as in bug fixes and feature additions happen on a regular basis, rather than once in a lifetime).

I really prefer IB to FA, but FA has the momentum of a 10 ton rock rolling down Mt. Everest. Everyone signs up here because everyone's already here. IB is still growing, and has the stigma of being "cub-friendly." They have a kick-ass search/filter system, though, so it's easy to ignore anything you don't want to see.

The "killer app" feature of IB was the ability to sell prints or digital downloads directly to fans on the site, but the whole payment kerfluffle made that a problem. They've set up direct-donation to artists through PayPal for now, but they're still working on setting up a direct-payment system for purchases again.

There's definitely a bit more of a cub focus to IB I've noticed (not my cuppa), but I really like the fact that they're clearly expanding and improving features all the time. If I had more traditional art as opposed to Poser content, I'd probably post there more often.

I'm on inkbunny and I have to say I'm very happy there. inkbunny is a good site. it's hit counts are liken to a young site. I don't get as much traffic as FA but every time I turn around there's a new watcher and a new artist, so I'd say it's growing.

In all fairness I have a huge watcher head start on FA. So hit count comparison is rather silly there.

All in all inkbunny is far superior to FA. they wont kill your freedom of artistic expression to the extent FA has. The reason there's a large amount of cub art on inkbunny is because FA banned it and displaced loads of fans and artists of cub art, sonic art and other "underage character" art. If people would get over their phobia of other people's freedom of artistic expression, inkbunny's art should balance out in time with other subject matter. inkbunny certainly isn't a site made purely for cub art.

I've talked to the owner of inkbunny and they seem to be a very kind and down to earth person. the site it's self is better built, better maintained, more friendly mod-ed, faster, smoother running, prettier to look at and easier to use. I can upload bigger music files there than FA, which is good and most important of all, inkbunny treats it's adult users like ADULTS.

The stance of the site is, if you don't like a piece of art, don't look at it. That's what the filters are for.
