Awesome! I hope they take an interest in this, god knows you've been working on it long enough. What kind of plans do you have if they don't take it on. sell it yourself via paypal? or.. what?

Also, I'd love to work on the next game you had in mind, but then again I have don't have any programming skills, little in art and less experience in making games. writing/music/game mechanics are my thing.. Well, whatever happens, it's awesome that you can make these :D

It's an inspiration to us all that you don't consider any of the above as obstacles :) But with codeless environments becoming more popular (this was made in Multimedia Fusion 2), they really don't have to be. Your music style would be fantastic for action games.

I'm going to look into self-publishing as well - though this is the first game that I've ever attempted to sell, so I'm not sure what to expect.

I do consider them obstacles, but stuff that can be overcome with teamwork or effort.

Damn you, I'm still in the middle of EO3 and, due to a lapse of sanity, I just bought the Tactics Ogre remake. I don't have time for this. And yet it looks so cool, even before factoring in the "support this game because I know the guy who made it" aspect....

Can't you just... keep working on it for, say, another five years or so? I'll let you know when I'm ready.

Getting anything else at all before finishing EO3, though, does seem somewhat optimistic.

Awesum .3. I always thought your music would go great in a video game, and now I know it's true xD there's a lot that strikes me as borrowing some of the themes, musical motifs, and level concepts definitely from classic Sonic - Dust Hill and Flying Fortress sound right out :P though it's definitely your own game with its own identity. "With the greatest of respect sir... you've always been rotten at the trumpet" made me lol :P I'm definitely looking forward to this though.

I had always admired that series' flashiness, from its level design to the presentation with the flying titles... it was a style that I always tried to copy in my first stumbling attempts at making games fifteen years ago, but that I've only recently been able to do decently :) So you're right in where a lot of this inspiration came from - Dust Hill was even a scrapped level name for Sonic 2 that I took to re-interpret for myself.
