Moving!

Well, here we go. down to the wire. It's Wednesday, Sept. 26. 6 days till I finally begin moving. Meaning I'll be gone for a bit, so... no big loss there. :P I keep stressing and screwing things up though, like my near lack of gas money, but fortunately, i think I've managed to get that under control with minimal hassle. The only thing left to do now is finish my job till Friday, and enjoy my last weekend here amongst friends... hopefully. Then it's a thousand plus mile trip from the middle of Mississippi to Delaware. That's gonna be scary. I've never driven that far on my own before. Any tips?
Wish me luck, peoples. I'm certainly gonna need it.

1. Find a good audio book or stock up on music that you love. Because staying awake means listening to something, and radio stations WILL NOT be assured along the entire trip.
2. Have snacks in the vehicle so you have to stop less for food. I have found that if I keep a bag or two of beef jerky with me (the tough kind, not the sticks), I never have to stop for a meal unless I darned well feel like indulging.
3. Learn to love instant cappuccino. I like the French Vanilla kind. It's cheap caffeine and (for me at least) is more filling and less zapowie than energy drinks. It's a slow-sipping drink.

Thanks for the advice though. I appreciate it.
