Birthday Weekend Recap

I know no one reads journals, oh well, the other person who lives near me and has the same birthday did it, so... *bandwagon*
Friday: Took
Kyshatra to dinner, had sweet, delicious, succulent tempura sweet potatoes. Oh god yes. Also Chocolates. Including one which had the internal mixture of honey, vinegar, and floor cleaner. *thumbs up* Also inherited Kysh's PS3 games, because his is borked and mine needed stuff.
Also got into the Darkspore Beta for the weekend. It was alright. Needs some work on some things. A lot of some things.
Saturday: Lazed around, got Marvel Versus Capcom 3 on the new PS3 that I got from tax money. Had friends take me to a wonderful place, by which I mean my best female friend had me over, cooked dinner with us, we learned savory fruit salsa is a terrible, TERRIBLE thing. We learned that souffle falling makes it more like a slightly fluffier quiche, with all the extra liquid gushing out. We learned that another 'friend' "Firecrotch"/Doug is the biggest wimp ever and only eats well done meat. I also proceeded to beat him in his favorite card game with his own badly constructed sub-decks. We had delicious Mac and Cheese and coconut cheesecake with Passion Fruit glaze. We ended the night with Mario Party, and everyone hating each other, along with the revelation that around friends my tact is non-existant. ("Doug is such a whore, yes a real huge whore.")
Sunday: Didn't get to bed until almost 7 am hangover! Finished the available campaign in the Darkspore beta, lazed around, played more MVC3... Yeah, Sunday was boring.
It was a blast, and I even got a way to call a great friend a hipster for all eternity.
The real topper to all of this? I STILL have stuff coming to me in the mail, including a signed copy of the Final Fantasy Distant Worlds (I think is the name) CD, the stuff to make a DS Flash Card, and a preorder on Pokemon Black which I believe they're doing a midnight release for.
The best part: This isn't even a milestone birthday.
