Dang. They wont fucken arrest you trust. GO to the judge and tell him your predicament before they do the warrant. Or talk to the clerk. They can usually do something for poor young people like community service.

Long story short, jails/prisons are FULL. They really don't have room to house non-threatening people. Anything not 'worth it' or 'non-serious' crimes are usually looked over, sent home early or just not bothered with.

In my old situation I had a warrant for $789, it was tossed out in court when I shown 'proof' (back in '96, when I was young and dumb). Back when you needed to show proof of insurance, as apposed to nowadays when they can just electronically 'run your tags in'.

Heck if you was closer I could've fixed your window for peanuts! I had to replace my window in a GMC Jimmy I had years ago!

I remember when I didn't have a window on my flip down windshield jeep, long story short, this black cop gave me a $400 ticket to fix it than I went to the judge and said um WTF he gave me a ticket for a flip down windshield on a open jeep with no doors or other windows, than the judge said the hell and he got the ticket dropped

Foreign plates (Northern plates) with "Them Uppity Nigrahs!" inside is almost a shoe-in for a pull over in some parts of the south. I was in my friends Jeep (Illinois plates) in Mississippi, he's black as the ace of spades, we get pulled over by Sheriff Beufford T. Justice for 'speeding' (we just pulled out of a gas station literally). Sheriff Justice waddled up with that heavy Mississippi drawl..."Yew Boah know haow fas' yew wus going? Ah clocked you doin' 45 inna 30 zooahn!"

My friend just handed him his license and proof of insurance, while the cop eyeballed him "You got annah thang you ain't suppose to have Boah?"

Then the cop saw me and said "What y'all doing in this heah Jeep? This Yours?"

I point to my friend, saying it was his Jeep and that we just pulled from the gas station, and that if he classified speeding is anything over 5MPH.

Sheriff T just handed over my friends license and said "Y'all just slow down heah in mah county, y'hear?"

I've had more shit from white cops locally here in Wisconsin, Though I did have a black female cop call in back up when she pulled me over...I had a NRA sticker in the back window...she felt threatened.

heh that last part I've had that happen before, I have 2 NRA stickers on my trucks back window one of which says "NRA 2009 Rifle Champ" plus I do carry a concealed firearm and a rifle in my truck sooooo when I had this cop pull me over in Maryland she said "Sir step out of the vehicle and put down your firearm" I was like "really? I'm a law abiding citizen who has permits for these firearms." she than proceeded to say "oh well sir I still need the firearms" she took them, put them in the back of her car than proceeded to search my truck wtf did she think? but I've had that same thing occur, I had 3 bolt action rifles, 2 NFA rifles, 1 heavy caliber rifle, 2 revolvers, and 4 handguns plus my conealed carry pistol
I was going 88 in a 75 area on I95 and when I got pulled over by the trooper I put my hands out the window and told him I have a couple firearm cases in the bed of the truck and my concealed carry he walked up to the window I stepped out took the magazine out of the concealed and locked the slide handed to him along with the keys to the bed cover he checked everything out let me off with a warning and told me just slow down and be careful

I had a warrant out for my arrest for 10 years there in Calli. Seems the Chippie who pulled me over said I failed to use my turn signal a minimum of 1/2 mile before changing lanes. Fine was $185...I said Fuck it!! Ain't paying!! Every six months I was getting love letters with ever increasing fines and saying that I will be arrested. The Fine peaked at $5000 and I still drove in Calli off and on for 10 years, kept getting the threat letters. Then they stopped.

If you are in San Diego...hit a border glass shop, save some money.

Plus in the future, get a windshield coverage for your car with your insurance. Costs like $4-12 per YEAR!! Well worth it and covers your ass!!
