N'owlyns draws near. :D

This time next week, after a several hour drive, I will be lounging next to the banks of the Mississippi at The Hilton New Orleans Riverside! Teeheeheehee! I'm so excited! X3
My best friend darkkitten1986 has her annual slumber parties convention there and she invited me and corvale to come with her! The hotel we will be staying at is super nice and is only blocks away from EVERYTHING. The only bad thing is that during the day she will tied up with her convention stuff, but that won't stop me, Corvale or her man-thing from going out and having a good time without her! :P I mean, we'll be back to get her once she's done everyday... DON'T LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT! >:[
Also, also, ALSO??? Her convention welcoming party that Thursday is going to be 80's themed!!! Complete with costumes! XD She's taking me along as her guest... maybe because I threatened her life... but tom-ay-toe, tom-ah-toe. :) We already have our costumes put together; they're not the best by any means... but they're decent and they match but with different colors. I went with green and she went with pink. Can't WAIT!!! ~dances~
We are still working out the details for what we want to do on the rest of our trip. We are looking at several different tours, the aquarium, maybe even the ferry ride... Only a few things are for certain; we will only be blocks away from Bourbon Street and the French Quarter so it's kind of obvious we'll go to those at least once, Darkkitten wants to see if we can find the entrance to the 'underground' New Orleans, I want to go to a voodoo mart, and on the way home Sunday, we are going to hit up Myrtles Plantation.
It's going to be an awesome, much needed, vacation weekend. :)
