Some questions.

Not sure how many people watch me, and how many of those are into fic, but I figured I might as well ask: what is your ideal ratio of story and action (sex)? I'm the kind of person who focuses really heavily on story but I don't want to bore potential readers, especially because I still need to break into the community.
Speaking of breaking in and getting yourself known, how do people do that? Just throw stuff out there and hope someone gets hooked? Maybe a community for me to get into? Gonna probably work primarily on Pokemon stuff here.

It's not just a matter of throwing stuff out there, you need to make sure you've covered as many good channels as you can manage; i.e. JOIN EVERY COMMUNITY AND SPAM THE FUCK OUT OF THEM
also since stories don't have good thumbnails might try to find/make and eye catching thumbnail, hopefully related to the story.
