if I were to write a "little red riding hood" movie, for starters she'd be, oh i don't know, a child? kind of like in the book! what a shock! also, the wolf would be, BIG and BAD and ACTUALLY FUCKING SCARY.
The forest would be the foremost center of the film, apart from the build up in the small town. small wooden cabin town from the 1800's (the only thing the movie got RIGHT)
picture the forest as a Tim Burton-esque giant black tree, seeping white light forest. The red hood is barely seen other than the glowing blood red cloak, black shadoiws covering her face with only the piercing of blonde hair through the hood.
the wolf would hunt quietly, stalking, with a lot of predator-like shots to it, the first person of the creature in negative.
she walks into the house, the wolf tearing more and more at the house and they both die as the wolf eats the entire house. nightmare sequence.
her and the wolf met before that, talking quietly, standard "give me the basket" bit.
so she gets to grandmothers house to find the house completely empty, the wolf waiting for her, she runs screaming and crying out of th ehouse to find the lumberjack, who tells her she needs to stay in the house. she's a sacrifice to the wolf, the basket wad filled with letters of demands and meats, one letter said in particular "take the girl, leave us be"
she dies in a gruesome, bloody frenzy. sound like a better movie than the one that twat to made the twilight movie made?
