I learned a new word!

According to Wikipedia, nostalgia is a longing for the past, often in idealized form. I know that my past is not so distant, but my childhood is left behind me. Sad, but true. Sometimes I wish I could sit and watch a good cartoon without my parents laughing at me. >.> And this reminds me some cartoons that I used to watch as a kid. Back in the 90's, when cartoons were cartoons...
Popples and My Pet Monster. I used to watch these shows on video that my dad borrowed. When I was a kid, I didn't care if something was "for girls" and something was "for boys". I simply loved those "little popping things" and "the blue monster". :P
Tiny Toons, of course. I loved this show, one of my favorites ever. In my opinion, even better than Loony Tunes.
Yattaman and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Of course. I can't find anybody at my age, who didn't watch these shows. :) New TMNT sucks...
And last, but not least, one of my absolute favorites... Dinosaucers. Me and my friends used to call them 'Dinosaurs from another planet'. I watched this show every day and what to say more.. I miss it.
OK, I have to stop by know, or I'll post half of YouTube here ^^" Anyway, I miss my childhood and those great shows that I used to watch. Pity that nowadays children get only stupid and "trying-to-be-funny" shows...

I agree that todays poor shows are lousy and boring in comparison. Aside from cartoons I am annoyed that channels have changed from mostly cartoons and the odd few live action programs, but now its just all live action programs and trash like Spongebob Squarepants.
Its a real shame they dont show the old stuff no more, was much better
Taak... znam to uczucie. Ostatnio jak robiliśmy w domu porządek to znaleźliśmy kasetę z "Kosmicznym Duchem" który był prawie kompletnie zniszczony bo go oglądałam non-stop. Najzabawniejsze jest to, że o rużnych moich starych ulubionych bajkach nie pamiętam do czasu gdy znowu mi się gdzieś nie nasuną.
Zastanawia mnie tylko dlaczego moja siostra uważa ,że byłam wychowana na pokemonach skoro oglądałam je jak miałam jakieś 10 lat...
