It's really bass-ackwards.
Because of my android phone, I linked my weird, default e-mail account to my normal Youtube upload account..
But now that the linking is mandatory, i have to link my normal mail account to my weird Youtube account? Goddammit.

I feel your pain. I did not want such a thing, and let loose my exclamations upon my latest use of the website.

ALL OF MY FAVORITES, SUBSCRIPTIONS, AND EVERY LITTLE CRUMB, of my user had been erased with such a change. Google, you are becoming very fascist very hastily.

They've asked that from mine too, but it's a step I've always been able to skip.

I made a YT account last year when they'd already taken over, so I can't claim my favs were wiped or anything'. I didn't have anything faved.

Luckily, I already had a G-Mail account (before AOHell bought them out), so I was good. Did a total "....wait, whut?" when I got that message when I tried to sign in, but they didn't do anything to my faves, so I got over it.
