Write ten statements to ten people. Do not include names, or whom you're writing to. Be brutally honest, and see if those you wrote to can guess who's who.
Of course, I'm limiting this to people I know on FA.
1. You are someone I can relate to some of the time, which is more than I can say about most other guys. I feel like we could be good chill-buddies. Please don't lose contact with me in the far future, I'm afraid of spending too much time here alone on the computer. I'll try to put up with your antics if you promise the same of me.
2. I'm so grateful to be able to be someone in your life, and vice versa. Every single friggin' time you talk to me leaves me beaming for the rest of the day, even if only on the inside. Heck, I'll still sometimes break out into a grin from something we did together months ago. If for some reason you've run out of people who will listen to what you need to get off your chest, it must be because you haven't gotten to me yet! I can only wish the best for you, and I hope we get to make lots more grin-worthy memories in the future.
3. Sometimes I feel like life has dealt you an unfair hand... Some of it, I wonder how much is self-induced, but I know that the great majority of it isn't. Nobody should have to deal with what you deal with every day, and you do a great job of coping and moving on with your life. Everyone needs an inspiration for how to deal with hard times, and a lot of those times, you're mine. Please ask for help when you need it.
4. Maybe your hand's a little shitty too, but sometimes the way you react to it is too. We're all different, sure, and it takes some time getting used to that. When you're not reacting to something bad, you're a really cool person who has a lot to teach people about kindness and smart stuff! You're talented in many fields, and you have more people who care about you than you would probably like. Cheer up a bit, and please try to distance yourself from the things that are making you sad or self-loathing. Come hang out with us cool people instead! And by "cool" I mean the especially nerdy ones wearing bowties and fezzes and scarves and other such "cool" things.
5. I'm glad to have been a part of your growing-up process, probably better me than some psychopathic rapist or something. You're quirky and fun most of the time, and you'll find lots of people who will love to be around you for the endless entertainment and attention that you give them. Have a bit more confidence in your focus, your independence, and your abilities, and maybe your downer moments will lessen more each day, and allow you to grow into a confidant and able adult.
6. I don't even know if you can see this, since I've blocked you. It's probably better if you don't, 'cause you'd probably just find something to mock, or to pick at, or some other such thing to bring me down or try to raise yourself up. That's just how you work. Somebody needs to put a stop to you and your way of life, and I'm just sorry it couldn't be me. We all tried so hard, and we're not even the ones you've hurt the most.
7. Again, to a person I've blocked. The only other one. I really didn't want to have to do that, but after three chances you gave me no choice. You might have some issues going on in your life, but... Well, no, you probably do. Like for sure. It's probably because nobody wants to be around you, because you act weird, because you have issues, because nobody wants to be around you. But tormenting people on the internet that you've never met (with alternating pleas for attention, suicidal threats, and attempts at blackmail) is not the correct way of going about ANYTHING, especially as far as helping yourself. Get some help professionally, I know you can afford it.
8. To you, I'm not quite sure what to say. You've pointed out before that you've got two different worlds warring for your life, and it's completely true. At this point, I feel like it's no longer even a choice between happiness and security... Instead, I think it's between happiness and loyalty, perhaps. Your mom loves you, and so do a lot of people in your life, but they don't always know what's in your best interest. Heck, even if they did, but you clearly thought otherwise, they should respect that choice and let you fall on your ass because they love you and will pick you back up. They're not the only ones who would, though.
You have a very loving and supportive network of people out here, and sometimes I think we've got more power than you give us credit for.
Sometimes I wonder what it would be like, like if you're doing the right thing. I don't know.
9. I'm sorry you're so lonesome, but I'm proud of you for beginning to figure out your own identity. You've been a part of my life for longer than anybody else on FA, and it's been an interesting trip. I only wish I could visit you more often. Best of luck with finding a configuration that works for you. Come with me to AC again this year?
10. We've only had the slightest of conversations so far, but I bet we've got so much more in common! I could be a lot better about reading your stuff and being supportive and the likes, but I plan to do that sometime in the future. You're an amazingly talented artist, and you put out SO MUCH STUFF. Let's hang out sometimes, okay? You crack me up a lot. You make lots of people smile. Keep doing what you're doing, and don't be afraid to open up to more people. They might surprise you!
