I was stationed on the USS George Washington (CVN-73) and I was down in trunk and in one of the weapon mags when I heard something heavy hit the deck and when I went to check it out I found the elevator door laying on the ground with a pool of blood under it and then a few minutes later they vanished

Not really creepy, but when I was little I lived in a supposedly haunted house.
I was in bed, just about to fall asleep. Someone knocked on my door and I shouted them in, and then I started conversing with them. (I can't remember exactly what happened, this was ages ago, I was a bit of a strange child so I might have been talking to myself? xD) I had no idea who they were, but they sounded about 6 (my age at the time), and they said their name was Nathan and that he was meant to be here. I told him I wanted to sleep so he said night.

The next morning I went down for breakfast and told my mum that a boy around my age named Nathan came into my room and talked to me last night, and she was like "... are you making this up?" and I was like "I'm pretty sure I'm not". She looked at me like and then called my dad in and told him.

Turns out I had a twin brother who died at birth, who was called Nathan, and they didn't want to tell me because it might upset me.

My mind is still a bit 'wut' at that. :S

Well, late last autumn I think I heard a banshee. I was looking at the stars one night, and after seeing a falling star I was thinking how cool it would be to hear an owl. And not a few minutes later, an eerie call came from the woods. At first I though it was a girl in trouble, but the pitch changed to sound inhuman, and it was followed by several soft coos. It wasn't a screech owl, and I've never heard a coyote make that sound, and I have yet to find out what it was. :3

My room constantly rings at night with thumping, nobody at the door and nobody awake. walking around from my bed to elsewhere across the house chills run down my spine.

Well, as I did paranormal investigations when I was in college, I have several stories. However, I'll tell one about the large house I grew up in. This had a number of odd spots. I remember I'd sometimes wake up at night to see the blades of an electric fan slowly turning. This with it being turned off and the windows closed, so the room was generally airless.

Another spot was at the south end of the upperhalleay, which had a slight dogleg and ran to a staircase which was borded up. I always felt uncomfortable at that end of the hall, and years later I started hearing stories from friends who had seen something "large and dark" there but hadn't mentioned it at the time.

The best thing lately is the sound that sometimes comes through the neighborhood at night. Extremely eerie.
