So close, but so far away. Part three(Para)
Rayne opened his eyes slowly as he rolled over to look at his ceiling the room was very well lit, the morning sun had already burst in and filled the room with a warm glow. The tired wolf rubbed his eyes before sitting up, spinning his legs over the edge of his bed. he stood up brushing off his black pajama shorts before straightening the light blue bed sheets of is bed. Stretching his arms above his head he yawned widely.
"What time is it?" He mumbled to himself in mid-yawn. Rayne ran for his wardrobe after checking his red alarm clock that was stood on his brown bedside table. "Crap, its twelve thirty!" He threw on a purple
t-shirt, black hooded jacket and slipped on a pair of black cargo pants before he ran out of the door. the hallway was covered in a light cream carpet that was soft under Rayne's quick moving feet, As he made his way down the stairs, he was stopped by a largely built black wolf wearing blue overall covered in white paint splats.
"Whoa, where's the fire?!" he spoke, The large wolf's voice was rough and he spoke with some authority as he looked at Rayne through blue eyes. Rayne hastily pushed passed him heading for the wooden front door.
"Sorry, late for work!" Rayne called in a panicky tone as he made a sharp turn opening the door to be almost blinded by the sunlight in his eyes. The door closed with a slam as the large black wolf shook his head with a deep chuckle, he turned toward the staircase, but before the large wolf could take a step his ear twitched, a buzzing sound came from a thick black jacket hung on a nearby coat rack. The wolf made his way over and reached in pulling out a black cellphone.
"Rayne left his phone," He mumbled as his eyes studied the screen "Oh a message?" He slipped the phone into his overalls "I'll remind him when he gets back.".
The town was a bustle with busy people running left, right and center to and fro from shops, the air was filled with the smell of street vender's, selling a wide assortment of fast foods drifted by with the summer breeze. Rayne came running down one of the streets, his Rebok shoes slamming down on the brown bricked pavement under his heavy steps, his pace slowed as he lent on a nearby lamppost panting for breath, crouched from exhaustion. As he stood up and regained his posture, Rayne took a deep breath of the lively town air. He took a moment to think to himself.
'Moo hasn't text me in a while." He though on as he took a step "Thats not rite he always texts me at twelve. maybe should check my..." The wolf's face suddenly dropped as he searched his pockets franticly. "Crap!" He cried causing shoppers to look at him oddly, Growling and mumbling under his breath Rayne continued walking, He got close to the cafe in which he worked "i'll have to go back and grab it during lunch." he huffed opening the glass door hearing the small bell above him chime.
