Two Ursa Major nominations!

The nominees for the 2010 Ursa Major Awards have been posted, and two of my works are up for awards!
* "Otters in Space" for Best Novel
* "Gerty and the Doesn't-Smell-Like-a-Melon" for Best Short Fiction

I feel really, really excited and honored. Thank you to everyone out there who voted for me. It means a lot. Also, thank you to all of you who have +watched, +faved, or just commented on my SPACE HOUNDS! strips. I love seeing your comments -- they keep me excited to post new strips.
P.S. Both Trudith in "Otters In Space" and Gerty in "Gerty and the Doesn't-Smell-Like-a-Melon" are based on Trudy, the amazing, lovable spaniel who plays Captain TJ Barker. So, really, a vote for either of those works in the Ursa Majors would be a vote for TJ.
