Let's move on from sad things... It's Mar 14. Happy π day!
I just got back from Furnal Equinox early this morning. That was fuuun. Met a bunch of really cool peeps, and picked up some great pics.
I may just do the con thing again some time...

And only if you use M.DD notation, which not everyone does...

I use yymmdd notation so my files sort nicely. Well, there was a bit of Y2K confusion.

I use yyyy-mm-dd myself. It just makes sense for the most significant digits to come first, right? It's also ISO standard (8601), not that that really counts for much these days (I'm looking at you, OOXML)...
