People of Japan; Indomitable Social Character

Despite all the tragedy coming out of Japan, the one thing that I've found to be truly touching and heartwarming about this is how the Japanese people have conducted themselves while enduring such great hardships. There has been no looting, no crime waves, none of the anarchy you typically see in other places after a major disaster. They are actually going out of their way to help each other, even people they don't even know. A recurring example is people in evacuation shelters dividing up food equally amongst themselves instead of hoarding it for themselves. People around the world could truly learn a thing or two from this.

Well japan is a pretty crime free place, for the most part.
