I too caved in and got me a twitter, still refusing facebook though

awwww it got you toooo. the twitter got me , my mate and our dog takoda, and me and the mate are on face book aswell >.>

I never understood the point of giving Twitter accounts to things that don't know how to use human language...

For instance, one of my friends apparently has a house plant that uses a small gadget to tweet him updates regarding the moisture content of its soil and to remind him to water it...

thats actully really cool i would be intrested in that and my dogs tweets thing is just cute and thats aboutit

whats wrong with facebook?

Not only is it's a platform that requires people to maintain social relations that they don't necessarily want to maintain (such as with mean-spirited ex-girlfriends or some random guy who just so happened to have the same math class as you), but Facebook retains the right to all information (including user generated content, personal information, etc) that is posted on their site... And that really bothers me...

Now, I'm not saying Facebook is "the devil incarnate" or anything (it has helped people reunite with old friends and does acts as a "casual gaming platform") but, in my opinion, the negative qualities really outweigh the positive ones...
