Eh well, uploading art in here hasn't really felt fun for the past 6 months, I can't seem to be able to manage or hold interest on more than three art galleries/places/journals at once and even though some of the best comments I've got came from here, most of the worst ones came too.

people on FA don't know how to behave properly. This is not surprising

Yeah, I'm lucky in the aspect that in general the not-so-good comments have been at most facepalm worthy or slightly wtf, but this is also the only site where people have told me to fuck off and go die in a fire when I questioned/critiqued an artist they were fan of... Not even the sparklekids of DA did that.

I love those ones. They almost have an aneurysm over the smallest shit.

And twice I've been thanked via Note when I talked against a more popular artist which just gives me a feeling that people are actually afraid of critiquing or talking against more popular artists (even if the artist would be okay with it) or that it's kind of a "taboo", what with the whiteknight hordes...

Seriously? Wow, that kinda reminds me of a herd of sheep :X

We're scared to speak out or question popular artists because the artist either flips shit- or the followers do
the they hound your page and send you hate notes :x it's a vicious circle.

That's usually the point when you report them for harassment.

Ha ha, well, you can probably bookmark those sites and occasionally check them out. Though I do know how irritating it is when artist only upload in places that I don't use :V

I only post on here to give the weirdos a place to comment without it showing up anywhere I care about.
I only post one kind of thing up here on FA, and, to be honest, I don't even care for it so much anymore.
I tried to push off into other topics, even tried doing things with more adult themes, but, really, I just don't feel happy to be here. If you care to look, the link in my profile takes you to my DA page, where I go about things a tad more professionally.

Unfortunately I have no internet that's reliable at home, so DA bogs down bigtime on our pirated signal, and i can't go at work because of the viruses in the spyware. :( and I just never remember to check LJ

i just hope you don't stop drawing monsters as much i don't know if you have ever seen berserk or know of the artist Kentaro Miura but your style of drawing monsters reminds me an awful lot of him lol which is a good thing!!! BTW i never would have found you on DA its like diving into an ocean FA is more like getting lost in city and inkbunny is like an AA meeting lol

I know how you feel. I've felt like this place has become more of an art-dumpster than an actual gallery, at least for me, anyway. That's why I removed all of my original art and now post on Tumblr. (I still upload commissions here, though)

Even then, why would you care of the popular ones? They're only known on this site, and they're porn artists mostly! Porn is the lowest form of expression and if they want to make money from that - please, let them do that and don't worry your head over it. Don't make them improve.
