Was awesome.
Though there are some things that I could easily complain about, the good FAR outweighs the bad.
I got to meet some really amazing people, some I knew via interwebs, some through friends, then others that I just randomly ran into.
Highlights:
Thurs:
Once I got to the hotel, I tried to adjust myself to the unique floor layout. I suited for a while, before and after opening ceremonies. I found myself getting rather fatigued and coughing quite a bit, so thinking I may be catching a bug, I retired to the room and went to bed.
Fri:
The day started early so some friends and I went out and had some BF. Afterward, I suited some more, being sure to stop in to get photos taken (missed it last year). There was quite a bit of socializing in the fursuit lounge. Mingling and meeting new people, catching up with old friends. During the night, I spent a good amount of time with friends at a room party. I met some really entertaining people that turned into good friends. What better to follow a party than an awesome dance? So naturally I danced my buns off until I was about to pass out... then I passed out.
Sat:
Much like Fri, Sat was full of fursuiting and friendly meetings! The fursuit parade was held up a little due to the fact G4's Attack of the Show was going to film it and they were having trouble with the equipment. Got to spend a little time in the artist alley learning how hectic that can be. PHEW! Then the night was, again, filled with partying and socializing. In the fursuit lounge, I met some of the coolest chicks around. I nearly died laughing at some of the jokes they were telling. I also got up with some rather awesome old friends whom gifted me the CUTEST bunny plush EVA. THANK YOU, Rain and Morpheous!
By the end of the night, I finally got to spend some time with a new friend. I never realized how hard it can be to coordinated two very busy schedules! We somehow worked it out and the effort was totally worth it.
Sun:
The chill day. After saying goodbyes and eating lunch, I headed back home to face the real world. Ahhh... I miss you guys so much.
