Idea for a group yard sale

had a pretty good idea for a yard sale that sounds interesting, so I'm posting about it and letting you all decide if you like the idea.tropic wrote:Hello, I live in Tampa but I am not a furry(I have furry friends, hehe). It could be hosted at a volunteer's home(with a decent sized front yard) and participants can pay 3-5 dollars to set up their own little selling area. The items wouldn't have to be furry themed, anything you would sell at a regular yard sale would do, BUT furry type items for sale would do nicely since I'm sure other furs would want to come by and check out what's for sale. There could also be baked-good sales, face painting, music & suiters to wave cars in from the road(with signs) and to entertain children.
I was thinking maybe it could be held the first or second week of April, it would be like a "spring cleaning" themed sale! I personally am trying to downsize my belongings & I have quite a few dragon-related items that I would like to sell. All furries in the tampa area should be encouraged to attend & maybe there could also be some sort of BBQ cookout going on to spice things up!
