well what a brilliantly fun weekend I had... Was at work on sat and UV, Zuki and (blank) (sorry I forget last girls name as I'm crap at this kind of thing). later that day, I started getting really strong pains in the left hand side of my chest, over about 45 mins it got worse and worse until i was at the point where I was having trouble breathing and standing up, (this makes serving customers at the till kinda hard). My boss ran off to get me a first aider and within 10 mins I was in an ambulance on my way to Royal Free hospital in Hampstead. I got hooked up to loads of machines that went bleep, had morphine shot into my arm and got x-rayed a bunch of times. It turns out my left lung had got bored or something and thought it would be a cool idea to collapse on me. after getting a chest tap at about 4 am to remove the 250 ml of air that was floating around in my chest I was told to try and get some sleep, Kinda hard when you hate hospitals and have been told you may need a chest drain put in in the morning. morning came with another x-ray to see what was going on, the pneumothorax hadn't got any bigger so I was let home.


It still kinda hurts and laughing and coffing hurt like hell but I'm told in a few days I should feel ok again, although as today has gone on, the pain has been getting slowly worse so I may be making a trip back to A & E in a few days... Hey at least it got me a day off work...
