I pride myself in doing video games the right way D:
I started playing with a clan and they invited me to a clan-only get together to "help people prestige"
now I'd been playing with these dudes all day so I really didn't think nothing of it.
Until one of them hacked the game and told everyone to kill themselves with grenades. I didn't understand why and didn't do it at first cuz no one would tell me what happened (they were all bantering to one another so I wasn't heard)
So dammit, i got curious and blew myself up.....
and jumped 30 fuckin levels to my first prestige...
GODDDAMMIT. I wanted it do it the right way not cheat! I told them I didn't want to play with them anymore and left.
See, i suck at Modern Warfare, so it's a big thing to me when I accumulate enough points to level up n shit and get the cool emblems and stuff.
Now I feel xp raped D:
I don't wanna prestige cuz then I'll lose all my items n shit.

I was playing a modded server of a game once, and while it was modded to have more xp it was free so it's the only way I could play. On the server you could ask GMs to bump you to max lvl so you could go play in the PVP section, but I decided to level on my own.
Boosted or not, it was still hard work and I was proud of myself. I joined a guild with some friends of mine, and there was ONE person in it I didn't know.
The day I was like 3 levels from max I was cheering that I was 2lvls away and the girl asked ''why don't you just ask a gm to lvl you?'' to which I replied ''I want to do it myself.''
And two seconds later she screams in world chat ''Please level [my character's name] GM!''
Next thing I know I'm being teleported to the GM island for lvl to max, which also froze my character and I had to make an alt just to get her unstuck. I was told I couldn't have it reversed because it'd screw up my spells and stuff.
Oooooh I hate cheaters, and people who don't appreciate wanting to earn your skills in a game.
Gami, gold, and best did a group thing with me once to help me learn the game and level, i prefer making my own way up the ranks...
I make a good sniper apparently. XD
Also be careful with those cheats and such. a friend of mine joined a game once (didn't know it was a hacked one) and if you got killed in the game it put something on you so every time you killed someone from then on(even in other games) you lost levels and experience. He had to go round and round with the company to get it fixed.
I know how you feel..I only do offline multiplayer, and me and my brother are close to the same for the unlocks and stuff, so it's fair...but even online, as cool as some of the stuff I DON'T have unlocked is...I still wanna get it by playing, not by cheating...cheating's fun when you've beaten a game before and you just wanna dick around on single player/multiplayer with friends, but...what those guys did is just stupid...
one that really really pissed me off... there was a time when I was playing Left 4 Dead 2... the other team had an aimbot... how did we know? quite simple... it acted like a regular bot (non-human intelligence for a team game) and we'd get shot by the same character from literally miles away as zombies... wtfudge. That same team, we got down nearly 3 times in the same round. They all stood up as if unharmed... >_>
I truly don't understand the massive focus on cheating your way through prestiges. I've been constantly spammed about it.
I know a guy who actually did that. He got bored really fast.
Sometimes it is the same thing. They hack your account to give you 10 prestige.

Report their xbox live account and they will be banned. My husband hacked fall out los vegas on his pc, went god mode and killed everything. So yeah he ripped the fun spirit out of me by doing that. I only use cheats if I'm stuck at some point for a week of trying to pass it. Basically last resort.

First, I HATE n00b toobers. Yes, grenade launchers are part of the game. It's just a dumbly fast way to get killed. Anticlimactic almost.
So imagine my horror when there was a player with a modified gun that shot grenades at a rate of over 120 grenade rounds in a minute? D: D: D:
All I heard was BOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOM, and I lasted like... four seconds? And I see these arches of grenades from this one guy, and i was just like ,"screeeeew this" and disconnected.
The first is always the hardest, but it becomes quicker the second time as you learn what weapons, perks, equipment and tactics you are good with.
I can give you a few pointers, if you want. I'm not the best player there is, but I top the scoreboard at least every other game.
My friend accidentally invited me to a hacked server (Wasn't his fault) And I jumped to level 70, 10th prestige....I don't play it anymore :(
sorry ta hear what happened. Try contacting Infinity Ward (or whoever made the game.) maybe they can help.
