Actually, I got home yesterday, but I was too tired to do anything and went straight to bed. So sorry for the delayed "I'm back" journal.
Back to the topic, I had a blast! Not including the six hour drive to Charlotte, SV, but a blast. When I got there, I was expecting little over hundred players there, but I was wrong. There were 40,000 players at the tournament! D8
I was overwhelmed at the number, but of course it was my very first time entering a big event and it was a championship tourney, so that makes sense. Like I'd said before, in a late journal, I'd ran Six Samurai, and did great in the first round. But at the second round and after that, I didn't do so well because of one major problem..., BAD HANDS!!! I couldn't get a decent hand in almost any duels, expect for a few duels, and at the time I'd start drawing good cards, it would be too late and my opponents would had something waiting for me. Solemn Judgment/Warnings, Bottomless Trap Hole, Effect Veilers, Thunder Kings, etc. So I had a bad case of luck with me. And it was the same with my older brother and all but one of my teammates.
And I have may overspent too. Before I left, I had two-hundred dollars in my wallet and when I got home, it's empty. o_o
Overall, I had fun. Lots and Lots of fun. Made friends, gotten cards, dueled other players, and even got some of my duels on the video camera in my phone. I'll be upload those sometime today. And I got some of my cards signed too. You can see them in my gallery.
