I have decided to go through the Navy. Not right now, of course. That'd be dumb, considering how out of shape I'm currently in. Instead, my loving Alby is going to put me through a long training regimen to get me into a state where I'll be physically able to go through boot camp and beyond. And he'll be going through with me, which should make boot camp much less hellish, considering I'll hopefully be seeing a familiar face every now and then.

Before anyone tries to dissuade me, thinking I'm going in just for Alby, there is a more important reason. My parents have a fairly strict financial grip on me, and I've gotten sick of it. So going through the navy would instantly get me out of that situation and I'd be able to be much more independent.

So wish me luck when I enlist, people.

PS - if you asked me one year ago, what I'd be doing now, I would have never said that I'd be dating a truly wonderful man, I'd be getting in shape, and I'd be planning to go into the US Navy. Funny how life can be this way.
