Trip to SLC, New art pad, and then some!

Thats right! Plenty of good news today.
Starters: Went on a trip to SLC and took along the suit. Was a lot of fun. Walked around in front of Gateway mall, as well as a few other places. HOLY CRAP a lot of pics got taken!!!! I only got a weeee bit of footage at Gateway mall, they got upset ...even though I was across the street. End result? No suiting allowed at -any- of the malls in SLC. I went to Fashion Place too, and asked management. I was told I can get permission, but need a better reason then 'I want to come in and shop, make people smile, make kids laugh, and bring more business to your mall.' Think about it, if you saw a suit running around at a mall, wouldn't you wanna go check him out and stuff? I didn't think like that till I had one guy ask me if I could wait like 10m for his friend to get there so they could see me XD
Anyways, Park City, went to their strip mall thing, with GAP and the Levi store and all that. That was fun as I did some parkour stuff.. which ended with my knee killing me. *DERP* Lesson of the day, just because it doesn't hurt then, does NOT mean its ok to train or practice...

Well, while in Park City we stopped at the Best Buy...and....I found my new little gizmo of awesome bliss... Intuos4. Picked it up, opened it and checked it out, compared it to a few others, finally choosing to stick with it as its what I have been really wanting. I also got a set of Skull Candy Skullcrushers. These little beasts are sick when used to listen to ....well hell...anything. Especially some dubstep!
So, two sweet new little gifts for myself. Combined with a great time, makes for a good week!

I was going to attend the Sci-Fi con here my state this weekend, SageCon. Due to the 3 others I -was- going to go with all backing out, I do not feel like going alone. Which sucks because I was really excited to go and have fun in suit! GRRRRRRR!!! Oh well. Money saved and better spent for FCN I suppose.

Last on the list,is the happy little bit of art I made. Yes, say what you will, but its the first thing I sat down and really worked on with my new art pad. I was trying different things out, just learning the different features of SAI and other things. I really thought the pic to be funny though, so I wanted to post it:
