I loved the series. Excellent characters, excellent story. It was cool to see some legit Buddhist teachings in it. Everything fit together so nicely in the end and overall was very enjoyable, for being so naive and childish.

The movie, I also enjoyed. Rushed and overfilled, and no, the characters weren't 100% true to the series. But I allowed myself to enjoy the movie for what it was. It had good effects but was just another hollywood movie.
