Paper cranes for Japan (Please, join in and repost)

There is a japanese legend, that if you make a thousand paper cranes in one year, you can make a wish...
What if a thousand people were to make one each... Could we make one wish together?

Cranes are symbolized as Hope and Peace,

My class is 4 hours long, with pretty disrespectful Students,
They were only asked to make one or two, hardly even made one,
making jokes when we Played footage of the Disaster that Unfolded.
I deal with my rude class mates often, but that was a bit much.
During class hours i made almost 30 cranes, while doing other needed work,
I asked to take more paper home to make more, then link them together.
I currently have them all stringed together with a Bell at the end hanging in my Room.
It will be returned to school and put in a case where a display of 1,000 Cranes stands currently, to be added.
Just to think that someone couldn't sympathize enough to make One. "
