I was pretty sure this had been verified with the Japanese version a few months ago... But not too worried, shiny Pokemon are overrated anyway. I probably say that on part because the last time I saw one was a shiny Graveler in LeafGreen, that used Selfdestruct on turn 1. And when I say LeafGreen, I mean I ran into said Graveler a month after FR/LG were released.

At least the shiny you saw can't use SelfDestruct. I would have caught that Graveler if I hadn't been so insistent to use Pokeballs instead of anything else. But if I had a choice of shiny Pokemon... I'd want Mightyena. :3

And actually, I forgot about back in Crystal... I did catch a shiny Growlithe. That was lucky, because it has Roar, it could have fled. I caught it right in front of National Park. :3 I need to figure out how to get another shiny Growlithe... and a shiny Poochyena. I guess it's a good thing I have Japanese versions of SoulSilver and Black. I can use the Masuda Method. :D
