Heh, I'm planning to replace my emboar with a shandelure too at some point...

but in all seriousness, I tried using her (15% chance, and I got a girl. . . with a nature that lowers ATK. FFFFFFFFFF-), but the HP and Attack just don't work for the glass-canon status that fire still holds.

And it really didn't help that it was the reversal of Infernape (i.e. it started off goofy and lame, but ended with awesome). I don't know about you, but I still can't stand that design, and that typing.

Here's hoping for either a pure Fire type in the next Gen, or a new mix.

Mmm... well he's actually proven suprisingly usefull for me in getting his replacements prepared nd keeping me alive long enough to have the cash for the drugs tht my true team will need.

I think tha5t the fire-fighting type isn't tht bad, but it is very overused... the next gen is a little way off, but I am personally hoping for a new dual-type...

funny thing is; you don't get a good fire-type till the desert, and it's almost identical to Tepig in strategy, only pure fire. I'm talking about that crazy hitting beast with the rape-face, Darumaka.

Granted, I prefer a sp.atk fire, since most things that are weakened to fire also have low sp. def.

Hrm... well if you find the right one, Darumaka does become a fire/psychic when it gets down to half health and does becoem a sp-attack oriented blaster.

it's weird.

you can use it, but it's a really strange strategy, that will more than likely require a substitute and buff set up, and even then, you're looking at 2 stab moves, one fire and one psychic (i think it can learn psychic moves, if not d'oh)

Mmm, well you'd think it'd be able to if it can become half-psychic...

I would imagine it learns some form of psychic special attack, since it's sp. atk and atk are swapped after the transformation (and reverted when healed)

also loving that this game has opponents that change everyday, in the stadiums and whatnot.
