I don't know. That's sorta offencive with that closing statment.

We should show suport for all 3D artists. Poser, DAZ, 3DS or whatever.

The level of attention someone can get for a piece done in poser is very disproportionate to the total effort required to produce the image.

That depends on if they use stock models or actuly put some effort into things.

I hand make most of my textures, I edit my meshes to make my figures look how I need them, ourside of poser. I do allot of editing and pre-work and sometimes post work. I'm not disagreeing with you: Some people get way to much praise for there poser work. But the same could be said for some artist.

A better way to close that would have been to say, "Go suport a fine 3D artist."

Portal is worth it, just for the song in the credits alone, though watching your friend kill himself with a security camera before the game even puts hazards in the level is pretty funny. It only has one flaw: the game is too short.

It was my impression that the purpose of poser was to provide a detailed, properly proportioned and lighted model to serve as an aid to drawing and/or painting. That people skip that step and just post the poser image seems like a cheap way to do it.

Yes; but keep in mind that it's better to find actual subjects if you can... nothing beats the real thing for referencing... ^=^

Huh.. If I found an artist willin to take my extra gift copies, I'd go for that. everyone I personally know either hates the game, or has it.
