Hey peoples, Bootz here. Guess what? Im doing another one of these Top 5 journals :D...........well damn don't all clap at once :p. Seriously tho I'd do one since I just so happen to run into one of those things to where I gotta pick at it or if I feel really ticked rip it a new asshole...and considering that this is something I like of COURSE I gotta rip it a new asshole >:3 Now before you get all "Aw Christ here goes another fanboy rant about how sonic sucks now because of "insert crap reason here" and now we all gotta hear it" it's far from it. Cause I've endured a load of random crap that just so happens to come from all sonic media be it horrible dubbing, horrible story.....Sonic and Shadow break dancing at a high school party.....*shudders* yes it's been done people but I digress. If you haven't been able to figure it out by now, Im a Sonic fanboy. Plain as day, I stay by the sonic games because even though they suck I still enjoy them just because they suck and are fun to play to an extent, I've been a fan since I first owned a sega genesis, I've seen the shows even that god forsaken "Sonic Underground" cause I loved every god damned bit of it mother fuckers! >:D....Sorry...almost hit home there ^^;; But anyway, I can be a sonic fan and STILL point out all the crappy stuff and make fun of it and STILL enjoy it. So for all you sonic crusaders that wanna go at my throat after this, just remember that Im just as much of a fan as anybody else....only difference is I can laugh about when a franchise is in the shitter. With that much said lets get into the top five reasons that Sonic the Hedgehog issue 223 pisses me off OH so much :3

5. Mina going from a good character to a premadonna

.....Yeah ok, this one's a little hard to explain...that and these are like off the top of my head so sorry if this ain't as thought out as my last rant. In short, for those who know the character Mina Mongoose you'll know that she's had a crush on Sonic, got heartbroken when she saw Sonic confess his love to Sally, got over it by dating a British douche bag who is her manager (Apologies to all people in the UK but good lord but considering the stuff they've done and sunk to thus far I'd be amazed if he wasn't), aaaand is a now a friggin pop idol....who is currently going down the- Well let me put it this way. When she started out as a pop idol she went from "Teen Brittney (when she was actually decent)" to.....god....bad example. Ok yeah like I said this is hard to explain without gettin' my own opinion on how she's acting as of late. Mainly due to the arc where Nicole got her program taken over and turned into "Iorn Nicole", cause of it said version of Nicole had apparently turned a buncha mobians into robots or turning them into dark legion members. And since Mina got scared shiteless she decides "Hey, why don't I let everybody know about the threat around us? that'll get people in the know" the "threat" referring to Nicole which really ticks me off. Mainly cause when Sonic had beat the shit out the bitch who converted her that time it had knocked her out of her trance which was revealed in the very next issue where they show what happens to the characters and god dammit Im a fucking geek... Ok long story short, she got scared and decides to get people to turn on Nicole thinking she's the threat when in reality she's causin' a crap load of propaganda all cause she decided to piss herself instead of actually, you know, DO something even with her supper speed. Maybe Im being critical and such but c'mon, the fact that they have a bunch of in story propaganda which has been built up from issue 221 or 220. Hell she's barely in this issue that Im talking about and she just pisses me off ><....hmm...whats to bitch about her being in this...meh just the fact that she was in it trying to be important. Yeah we'll go with that.

4. Nicole actually helping peoples and NOBODY thanking her?

Ok as stated up on number 5 its pretty much something you'd have to read the comics to understand buut long story short: Nicole got possessed, she ended up taking over the minds of a bunch of people, Mina decides to spread a "message" and cause of it people hate Nicole now thinking she's a threat....despite the fact that she's just a computer program that could get just as taken over as, oh I don't know...ANYBODY ELSE THAT DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO FIGHT MIND CONTROL!! But I digress, disregarding all the undeserved backlash she STILL goes out of her way to help the ungrateful pieces of shite when Ixis Naugus comes into town. And where's everybody else omitting the freedom fighters? Running shitless away from the danger while they're being terrorized...ya know Sonic actually put it best when he said "Man I can't wait for every one of these ingrates to go "Help us Nicole" "Save us." cause honestly that's what Im waiting for cause frankly all those people in that town frankly FORGET that she saved their asses even WHEN she got taken over. And yeah frankly that's gonna scare the shit outa anybody really and while I detest the turns its taking this particular side plot IS a well written out one, as a man once said: "A person is smart, people are stupid." Truer words never spoken, but frankly its really not the people's fault cause frankly another thing that really pisses me of is that somehow the people of New Mobotropolis are being influenced by fucking IXIS!! Which brings me to my next point :3

3. Just what the hell is Ixis's plan?.....No seriously what the fuck is it already?

Ok people who've read the comics and such will probably know him a lot better than I cause honestly I only know a bit about him myself, I started reading the comics latter when they were still in the 80's and going up to the 100'ths so I was a bit off here and there. But good lord I've read a bit about this dude on the wiki and its just....I dunno maybe its just me but when you go from a big shot, to bumbling idiot and then to the Bison level of evil....eh. Again its probably just me but this mother fucker is vague as all hell, I mean all he's done so far is boost up the testosterone and friggin paranoia between the citizens of the area when they had that concert and like that was it. Its just confusing really, mainly cause the Ixis seems like one hell of a villain and his development as I've read has come quite a way....at least till Eggman comes back into play out of his mental breakdown in issue 200.....holy hell that was one hell of a turn. Hell the only gripe I have with it is using Geoffrey St. John as his apprentice...which brings me right up to number 2.

2. Geoffrey St. John.....you conniving mother fucker

This one just might be my most longest one because there's a whole reasons I can get on his sorry ass right now, but I'll try and keep it within the topic at hand. So, where the hell do I begin? Well for starters the mother fucker back stabbed Sonic in the special zone taking an emerald and going over to restore Ixis for some unexplained reason other than "He's the REAL king" or some bullshite and through some unexplained exposition Geoffrey is a dark wizard or some bullshit, yeah thanks for pulling that bit outa nowhere. That's pretty much the story is to where it is now in a nutshell...it bugs me really cause...his character change just comes out of nowhere. Seriously out of nowhere he just decides that he's an evil mother fucker, fuck everybody else, fuck the kingdom, fuck his friends, fuck his wife and pretty much fuck all of New Mobotropolis...I mean after a complete arc that he was a good guy and was one of the few saviors when the Iorn Queen took over to a very conniving and mean cocksucker. If anything this has been one of the main things that has really pissed me off while reading the comic, the fact that he's suddenly a servant of fucking Ixis and is praising the mother fucker or has been praising this fucker all his life and just did a pretty good job hiding it. And then there's his wife Hershey, the only other feline in the god damn sonic fandom and the only other off character that I actually liked. I mean christ the only other felines that were in it were Blaze who's pretty much barely in it enough when she ain't in her own dimension, then there's Big...ugh...moving on. Omitting those two there's the feline tribe who're just fine...just that they have a buncha baggage which I can't even keep up with. Hershey was just an awesome character, she was playful had some development even if by a little but in no way other than aesthetics did they attempt to change her personality what so ever which is rare. Hell its like none of them make an appearance and they decided to just say that she's gone off panel and on a mission and all that shite....well folks, they've provided some closure to what happened...in fact they've even went to the cheapest, laziest and- Yeah I'll just get to it.

1. ......Hershey's dead.....

Yeah. That's it folks, that's they're idea of closure. After several comics without any god damned appearances and no reference to weither she was even around or what not other than what Geoffrey said about her being on a mission which lasts about 2-3 issues, it takes THIS comic to tell us within 9-10 pages in to tell us that she's dead and has been for some time now. Folks...I don't know about you but if it were any other character that you happened to like and then they just come up with some fucking half assed excuse like her dying off fucking panel Im pretty sure that'd piss off a lot of people, hell maybe they didn't seem like much of a character to the creators or anybody else but frankly if you're gonna put out a character permanently....for fuck sake don't just say that she's been dead for fucking "insert number here" issues and just go off about it like its just business without providing at least some bit of friggin' closure! That's just lazy god dammit, and also WHY THE FUCK DOES SHE NEED TO BE DEAD?! What cause he still had a thing for Sally in which had died out eons ago? Boo hoo, get over it ya fuckin' tit! ><. I hope, and I really hope that they provide a better reason in the next comic and if not at least that she really isn't dead and that they just had a disagreement because Geoffrey decided to be a whiny little bitch and feel sorry for himself in which she comes in in all her glory and kicks his sorry ass till he realizes that he just lost the only other person who could possibly put up with him at this point. Of course that's just me folks, Im not holding my breath much...I stopped holding my breath by the time they had him reveal he was a fucking wizard of some sort and waited for them to explain that but 2 issues in go off to something else.

Well that's pretty much all I can say about it, hell if ya ask me I don't mind number one so much rather than the fact that they decided to get lazy...but good god...there's a friggin' limit to how lazy you can get. Hell if she really is dead and she really ain't commin back and if there is a good reason for her death...it'd better be a damn well good one.
