Do you wish you couldn't feel pain?

Right now my back is killing me, so yeah, every once in a while I wish that. But, then again, if I couldn't feel pain then I wouldn't know if something was wrong with me, so it'd likely cut my life expectancy in half, in addition to the fact that I wouldn't know if I had to go to the bathroom, so (even though it'd be an incontinent dream to some people), I have extreme bladder control, so my bladder would probably burst.
