Posting strategy?

I think I finally figured out a digital coloring technique that I'm happy with, so now it is time to practice! It is slow going, though. I hope to pick up speed with the more things that I color.
I've noticed that my page views are a little lacking. While this does not particularly bother me, I am curious about something; when is the best time to post submissions to maximize visibility? Is a certain day better than others? What about time? Should many things be saved up then posted all at once or spaced out?
I'm simply interested in finding when most people look at FA in hopes that things I post will be more likely to be seen. If I spend 30+ hours on something I'd like to get more than just a handful of pageviews, yanno? Statisticssssss.
Also, how do most of you come across things that you like on FA? Front page, friends' favorites list, submission feed, linked from off-site? Caly wants to know!

Well the main thing is not really when you post something. Because everyone is on at different times. the big thing for page views is showing off your work. Say you drew a dog. If you have friends on FA who like or are dogs, show it off in conversation, give a link and ask for opinions (this is also a great way to compile critique). Then, naturally, if they like it they will fave it and possibly watch you. One of the big things is that when looking for good stuff, some people(myself included) will look through other people's favorites. So if someone consistantly faves your material, the higher the chance of others seeing it and faving it as well, which also leads to pageviews, watches, ect.

like s/he said, advertising is essential. also, if you have scribbles which doen't look like drunken ants dipped in ink, post them. the more regularly you post something, the more people's attention you might gather. you never know who goes on the second after you submitted, sees your art on the front page, clicks it out of curiousity, and stays... :)
