My last journal posting and its accompanying forum of name-calling and back-biting has been removed. In the spirit of believing that misunderstandings can be resolved by communicating, I thought it would help to talk about it all...but it didn't.
FurNation will get along without me, and I will manage without them. Fandom should be big enough for all of us.
*Wow, apparently even COMPLAINING about drama creates drama! We're doomed.

mom used to say if you dont have nothing good to say
dont
:P
**nods** I do agree there is way too much drama-mongering in the fandom, and it seems to be getting worse, unfortunately. I try really hard to stay out of it and not infect it with more, so I keep my RL issues out of things. Let others believe there is no drama and nothing wrong in my life. At least I'm not adding to the drama, right? And if I have issues with someone, I simply don't talk to or about them, which also serves to cut down the drama.
I wish more furs would do the same and quit whining.
*cries*
Just ban those those are drama Llama -ing up your journals
You're stuck with me.
whatever, some people are insecure in their own lives i guess. I commented on a posted journal that i could and have created difficult things in the course of the many jobs i'd had and could given access to a well stocked machine shop, create any gun part. He figured it was impossible unless you were Smith and Wesson.
So i blocked him back.
I'm happy you are staying with us. Now go draw something and make me put you on a higher pedastle again with praise, Werepuppy!
Click on "(Control Panel)" at the upper right hand corner of each FA page.
Then click on "Profile" in the column on the left side of the Control Panel page,
Then scroll down to the bottom of your Profile page, and you will find a box labeled "Block List".
Just type the offensive fur's FA user name in, one name to a line. That person will no longer be able to post comments on either your Journal or your art.
The only drama I want is in my comics!
But, how about I refrain from further comment? ^.^
Remember this discussion:

On two separate occasions it was brought to my attention that he had produced and was selling large format copies of two different painting, not only without my permission, but without my knowledge. One was a painting he had used for a cover and he said he should be able to use it for that reason, but the other he had merely purchased at an artshow--and had NO rights to publish at all.
My responce:
Yes, Jim made a poster print of your cover to hang behind the table to help promote the sale of the magazine. It cost him $50 to print and laminate. he does this for many of the artists books he sells to help promote the materials. After the con he sells the posters for $50 to pay for the printing. Sean did the same thing with K-9s characters in the form of T-shirts without K-9 even knowing about it. But in Sean's case he profited off the shirts and K-9 didn't get anything from those sales.
As for the second print you think he sold prints of (wolf with a dragon on his shoulder), He saw that the piece in the art show was not doing well so he bought it himself for $200. He later put it in another art show a year later (a con you attended) and sold it for another $300 and again gave you the money (he even came up and told you he was standing there when the woman bid it up to $300). So in total you made $500 off that piece and Jim is out both $200 and the piece. He didn't have to give you the second $300 since he owned teh original but he did it out of friendship and felt you deserved more than the original $200 he bought it for.

Wow! Nexxus sure had it in for you didn't he!?
You didn't dispute this and that's when you sent Nex the appology. You listen to your "it was brought to my attention" buddies, jump to the wrong conclusions and F**K other people over instead of trying to get all the facts first.
You keep posting journals over and over so you will get some comfort from your fans for your own guilt. In your earlier journal you even admitted you were wrong and sent an appology Email to Nexxus and was upset because he didn't respond immediatley. Knife wounds in the back take time to heal.
But of posting these journals over and over make it easier for you to sleep at night, then so be it. And if you want to start F**king with me and doing to me what you did Nex, BRING IT ON!!
And second, despite your propagandist remarks about my knife-wielding abilities, I'm not the one doing things that are technically illegal.
Thirdly and finally, I do not wish to FUCK with you OR Nexxus. You are the one who said you were writing me off and wouldn't respond to anymore of my posts...so why are you whining at me again? I deleted the whole fucking thing, but I'm not going to delete THIS one, so if you don't want the controversy on here--QUIT quoting bits of it ON HERE.
*hugs all concerned ...just in case*
Legalities is also not the issue here since even Nexxus agrees that your art is yours to do with as you please. He always had. He was upset because you didn't even have the decency to let him know in advance that you had moved publishers after all the promotion and advertising and flying you to cons just being your friend. He only found out when he saw the books on Sean's table.
In any case in your previous journal you said that you sent him an apology (rightfully so for how you treated him) and was upset because he didn't respond right away then created this journal so you could bask in your fan's sympathy. Like I said before, whatever lets you sleep at night.
One last thing... Nexxus has learned from this experience never to trust friends again when it comes to business. He is now working on drafting up a contract that is in the best interest of the artists (as has always been his company's objective) where the artist will retain all their copyrights and maintain all distribution rights.
About the "finding out the books were published by RV only when he saw them on a table at a con", that is...less than accurate. I'm not saying I didn't go to another publisher without telling him, which was still my right to do,BTW--but he's being a bit melodramatic with his version of events.
Finally, and I'm sorry to say it, but I haven't trusted Nexxus for years, but I don't entirely trust RV either--this is my POINT. No one SHOULD enter into a publishing relationship without a specific contract, unless you want the result to be what these results are.
I am not putting all blame on Nexxus--but I WILL NOT accept all blame either. You are his friend and you will believe him over me, and that's fine. So let's just agree to disagree because you are wrong about many thing and I know there are things I don't know.
I know and I do believe he supports furry artists. I also know that he sometimes makes up the rules as he goes along--a dangerous practice for himself as well as furry artists.
^0^

"Didnnn't Iiiii teeelllll yoooooouuuu...NOOOOOO WIIIIIRRRRREEE...HAAAAAAAAANNGAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRS!!1!111!1!!11111!!"
(...and for some sick reason, I actually like that bit the most. Go fig.) :-P
Yeah... but remember, Joan Crawford wasn't around to defend herself when Christina wrote that tell all book, and that opened the flood gates of celebrity tell all books. Bette Davis' daughter did the same with her, except she was still alive. I don't believe in putting out your families dirty laundry out for the whole world to see. Peace!~
fire burn and cauldron bubble.
Oh, sorry, I must have passed out there for a minute, what were we talking about?
*hugs* Sorry you had to go through all of this mess...kind of makes me glad I don't have much notoriety in the fandom.

5-hydroxytryptophan does not alter coumadin metabolism at all, nor does cold water fish oil. Fish oil has much milder anticoagulant effects than aspirin or coumadin, so she should ask her doctor if she can take fish oil capsules.
5-hydroxytryptophan will have no effects of either blood coagulation or coumadin metabolism.
Naw, the drama, as much as we want to battle it, it not worth acknowledging because the more you fight it, the more it seems to come back.. And those who bring it the most remind me of cockroaches.. sure they scatter when you turn the lights on, but they'll be back...

3000+ furry websites plus a forum and no charge for any of it. There are requests for donations occasionally, but that's the same as FA because it does cost money to offer free services to the community like that.
Just FYI.
