What sort of art?

I am just curious for every particular individual, what does it take for you to like a artist enough to want a commission from them. and what quality's in the art do you look for that make you willing to pay for it more and more?
2) Mastery of the media. Or at least clean the damn smudges up.
3) Willingness to be flexible in subject matter, even if the artist has personal distaste.
4) Ability to keep it to themselves if they have a distaste for a particular group/fetish.
