Horrible Loss

Well 2 days ago we found out that our friend had lied to us about her new job and instead of going on the trip she said she was had barricaded herself in her room and killed herself. She was a beautiful tall African American woman with beautiful dreads and a warm heart who was loved by all who knew her.
We had no notice or clue that she was depressed and she had not been diagnosed with depression as far as we knew. She was early 20s and in college working on her degree. She made costumes and crafts as a side job and was always creating or volunteering for something. She wasn't a fur but liked them and was friends with many and I will miss her. So will many others.
I don't know what to do and feel helpless and hurt I don't know how she could have just left us. Or if she knew the hurt that would be left by her loss. Thank you all for being my friends and please know that suicide is a selfish and horrible thing. Those you leave behind are so lost and confused. Thank you and know I love you all.

I don't really know what to say but I know whatever it is it won't help you feel much better.
