Thank you to everyone who commented on my last journal; I read and appreciated every word you folks sent my way. It was insightful to hear about our shared semantic concerns.
I think I'll follow the advice of
artdecade and call my work "cartoons," and follow the advice of 
sauces and call myself a "cartoonist."
