The curse of the Japanese game developer

I actually made these comments in another person's journal post as well, but I feel strongly enough about them to put this rant here too:
I think Gamefreak is throwing away a few very important things that they could have improved on, or avoided making worse! In Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum; burying orbs in the underground was a simple, FREE way to get as many sun, moon, thunder, fire, and water stones as your bag could handle. I also recently realized that if I had pushed a pokemon whose only redeemable quality (in my opinion) was having the ability PickUp to at least level 71, then it would have been able to pick up Dusk, Shiny, and Dawn stones frequently while I ran around training pokemon or even playing the story again! The Vs. Seeker also meant INFINITE pokedollars QUICKLY if you knew who to go battle.
With Black and White, there is no easy way to get the evolutionary stones, and no Vs. Seeker to encourage fighting trainers to grow faster and earn all the money you could possibly need. They should also have cut the stupid battle subway crap and had the TMs only available through that tedious method in a store for very high prices.
I also don't like all this Wi-fi junk that they've made up. What if your DS can't use your router? What if you and your friends aren't the happy let's-play- pokemon-all-day club and thus can't use entralink to keep the stupid tenants in Black City and White Forest?
It's ridiculous that they pull this stuff when they should know that RPGs are played ALONE; not with constant visits from friends when the only thing that will change is what pokemon are in your party and how strong they are; not in pokemon dreams via a compatible wifi hotspot; and certainly not with complete strangers who fill out surveys for you. They're thinking only of the little children and flashy Wi-fi in the way gameplay goes, yet there are older kids and adults that play the games too! It's the experienced players who can fully appreciate the skill of breeding and raising pokemon according to their base stats, and the tactics of planning move sets for them.
When will they realize that a few slight changes could make the perfect game for both novices (there for the story and appearance) and experts (who want to be able to use their knowledge in convenient ways to craft unstoppable pokemon without limits to the number of evolutionary items and easily obtained TMs at their disposal).
