Hooray, hooray!
I just got off the phone with Nexxus. He called to extend an olive branch, we chatted about how sorry we were that everything went so fucking crazy and we ended the conversation as friends again having decided to let bygones be bygones!
The Drama War is over! Let us all rejoice that the evil scourge of unnecessary drama has once again been defeated by civil discussion. This whole mess was badly handled and I certainly share a good deal of the blame for that. But now the swords have been beaten into plowshares and we are once again all one big happy furry family.
Anyway, the lesson to be learned from all of this is to talk to each other, instead of through third parties and through emails. Maybe that's all it ever really takes is one person talking to another and being willing to give another person the benefit of a doubt. I still think communication is the best way to resolve things...but often it's just a matter of HOW one communicates.

in my experience, it's mostly just a last ditch effort to get your attention about something. According to Nietzschie, suicide is a last effort to regain and reaffirm one's Will to Power. Strangely enough... in my experience, the one thing that neutralizes suicidal threats is to show true indifference.
anyway, i'm not certified ;p but i really sympathize with anyone in this situation. all i can say, situations are not forever.
Do not offer sympathy to the mentally ill.
Tell them firmly: 'I AM NOT BEING PAID TO LISTEN TO THIS DRIVEL. YOU ARE A TERMINAL FOOL!'"
In other words -- Don't. This person is not your friend. From personal experience with my sister, I can tell you, they'll try to make you as crazy as they are. The issue is not the agreement. It is their mental stability, and your mental health.
Tell them to get on with it, or bugger the fuck off.
Good for you, Puppy. Having the last stinging word in a drama-fest is never so good as discovering that there's a friend to be made under all the imagining.

It could have been ugly. COULD have been. Except for one guy who managed to post first, and set the whole tone for the issue with a public apology on the Stampede Wrestling message boards.
Drama averted.
So often all it takes is someone with the guts to swallow his own pride. :)
