Bought my first lottery ticket today!

Yeah, I'm 28 and have never bought a lottery ticket until today, not including a few co-worker pools I contributed to almost a decade ago. If I missed out on a winning office pool, I would really regret it. But today, I did it on my own. I walked in, pre-paid for my gas, and asked for a lottery ticket. Then he asked which one. Erm... I don't know, I've never bought a ticket before!
Now, I'm definitely against gambling. It's generally a lousy investment. However, a ticket only costs $1. Do you know how much money I risk on day-to-day activities? I drive. I pay insurance. I make investments on home business stuff. THIS IS ALL GAMBLING! One ticket a week doesn't even hurt. Insurance.... I think has gutted me. I feel good about this risky investment. If I win even $52, I break even for the year! I don't know how often I'll get a ticket, but I figure either once a week or each time I pre-pay for my gas(I often use my debit card instead of pre-paying).
Oh, and that doesn't even include how much money I WASTE! At least this $1/week wasted has some chance of changing my life.
