COMMISSIONING

If you want to request a commission from me, either note me, or send an email to flamaykoriana[at]gmail.com .

In this note/email please send references. I can do well with written descriptions but I can better portray what you want if I have visual reference. Be very clear about the details of your characters, the poses, clothes, etc. Avoid unnecessary and lengthy descriptions/background stories of your character(s) (unless it is relevant to the illustration). Also, if there are any specific things about your character that might not be clear on the ref sheet, you NEED to tell me, or I will leave them out/default to my own style. If you don't care about specific clothing or poses, say so, so that I don't have to ask. ^_^

I DO NOT do approval sketches. I will usually post a WIP image to make sure I'm on the right track. These WIP images are rough, flat color compositions, very far from the final product detail level but they allow you to have a general idea of poses and colors. Feel free to ask for any change at this point.

If you are unhappy with something in the final image, tell me about it but please don't be rude.

For traditional work
Examples of things I can potentially correct: Making colors darker, adding shadow and adding more line work to a certain area (if it truly needs it).
Things I CANNOT fix: Making colors lighter, erasing things, changing the colors.
I am a traditional artist, I work with colored pencils and markers, and these things do not erase. I will do my best to fix something if you don't like it, but I have limitations and I need you to understand that.
For digital work
Changes are more easily made, however I will not make pose changes once the drawing has past the WIP stage.

PRICES
PRICES MAY RISE IF THE CHARACTER IS COMPLEX OR HAS COMPLEX ATTIRE/ACCESSORIES. In such cases price will be discussed via note with the commissioner.
1 character MEANS 1 figure/body/pose/form - If your character has different forms you have to pay for each different form separately.

Additional:
Standard pieces do not have background so if you’d like one there is extra charge depending on the complexity.
Extra fees might be charged due to the complexity of the markings/clothes/accessories of a character.

SERVICE RESTRICTIONS
Will NOT Draw: Scat, Rape, Vore, Watersports, incest, Cub in drawings with sexual content (if you just want your character drawn as a cub then I will draw it), internal shots (I'm no good at them), adult pieces with cartoon characters or copyrighted characters in general (unless they are yours or you have written permission to have them drawn).
Do not ask me to draw these subjects, I will not agree to draw them.

I Might Draw: BDSM/Bondage, Micro, Inflation, Hyper, Human, Macro, adult content;
These subjects are open for discussion, I may or may not draw it.

Things I am more comfortable drawing:
-Tasteful nudes and pinups
-Putting anthros in everyday situations, anthronizing (if the word exists), human culture (ie: turning known statues into anthro statues and so on)
-General Fantasy, shamanistic/spiritual, steampunk, celtic, medieval themes
-Normal (non-anthro) animals as well as creatures from mythology
-I have an inclination to felines but I will draw any species/race/gender/form!

If something is not listed, I may or may not draw it. This list is not complete so if you're unsure, then please ask. I reserve the right to refuse any commission if I feel uncomfortable with the subject or if the actual commission is out of my range as an artist. Please have a look at my gallery before commissioning me.

If I accept the commission:

For sketches and headshots payment will be done up front and will guarantee you can get some minor edits.

For waist up's and full body art I accept half up front (after you approve a WIP) and the rest near completion.

For commissions $100 + - payment can be done in 2 or more times (will discuss it in case by case basis). The commission must be paid in full before completed work can be given to the customer.

I will contact you if there has been any update to your commission. If I don't contact you, then there's probably nothing to show.
If you have a deadline, please let me know ahead of time. Fees may be charged for urgent rush jobs.

MAILING POLICY

For traditional art, if you’d like your art mailed to you, there will be an additional fee to cover the cost of shipping. The amount will vary depending on where you live and how far the picture has to travel.
(Usually an extra $5 will cover mailing costs to the US and Europe)
If you choose to only have a digital copy, please let me know and I will save a high res scan of your picture. I will email you the file and you can print it out yourself. No added fees will be charged in this case.

For digital commissions, I will (unless specified otherwise) email a 2000x2000 pixel - 300dpi png file.

DO’S AND DON’TS

I reserve the right to utilize completed pieces in any way that I choose, most often in the form of uploading low resolution files to online galleries, or selling reproduction prints at conventions. The exception, are character sheets. However, if you wish a piece to remain private just ask. If you would like to own sole rights to a piece, that can be accomplished with an additional fee.

You may NOT:
Claim the art as yours.
Sell it, or profit from it in any way.
Remove my signature.


You MAY:
Repost the image ANYWHERE as long as I'm given full and proper credit. ("I did not draw this" does not count as proper credit. My name or a link to my profile, please!)
Color the sketch/lineart, as long as I'm given full and proper credit for the lineart.
Print out a copy for your personal use.

PS: My art's free for uncommercial, private use.
You may print it out and hang it up on your wall if you wish to, as long as you're not making profit from my art, I'm fine with it.

You may repost my art on other websites, as long as credit is given (by linking back to my FA profile for example). Don't claim my art as your's (or your friend's, brother's, grandma's, etc. You get the idea)

You may use my art as a reference.
This means you're allowed to: eyeball the pose or other parts of the image if you think it'll be useful for you.
If you use my art as reference and if it's obviously showing, please give credit.

What I don't allow:
Removal of the watermark, tracing of my art, altering the artwork (such as cropping, overpainting tc).
My commissioners are allowed to crop their commissions for icons, banners and other things, but it's not something I allow on a regular basis. My commissioners are also allowed to color their commission or get their commission colored in case of a lineart/sketch commission.

Should I stumble upon something that goes against what's stated above I will report the submission, and I'm asking the same for other people who might find such submissions.
Don't be mean to the person in question, please! Just silently reporting them would do me the greater favor.
