Hork - I originally meant to post a journal concerning Draw-A-Bird Day this MORNING, but today was chock-full of activity, so no time for goofing around on the internet until now. Among other things, I finally got a job! Now it's time to get down to business - about drawing birds for Draw-A-Bird Day, that is.

Here is the official site for DABD: http://www.dabday.com/ It's really a charming story, about the innocence of children and the desire to create healing and joy in the world. We coud use a little bit more of that, I think.

So, THERE'S STILL TIME!! (I'm going by Pacifc Daylight Time, lol. There's still time for ME, anyway. :>) Draw a bird, peoples! It doesn't have to be good, or super-realistic, just reflective of the spontaneous spirit behind the whole thing, and post it on the DABday site. Let's turn DABday 2011 into the biggest, best, birdiest Draw-A-Bird Day ever! (until next year!)
