Less than 24 hours to go and there still hasn't been any improvement on the budget talks for the rest of FY 2011. As such, everyone's preparing for a partial government shutdown effective Friday at midnight (6pm Hawaii time).
I posted an entry on LJ saying that should this happen, I'll be doing most, if not all, of my socializing online for the duration of the shutdown. If I do go out, it'll be for essentials, like food, groceries, etc., and maybe to help out with church. But otherwise I'll be home, for the most part.
It's also looking like FC 2012 is very unlikely for me at this point but I'm not making a final decision until later in the year.
