The default language is German, but if you go into the Settings it can be changed to the original English track.

I ordered mine on April 7th, 2006. Since that time the price of this boxset has dropped to only 42% of what I paid. I think you will only pay around $39.84 US presently.

Keep in mind that this box set is Region 2 and will only play in DVD players that are unlocked. Many US DVD players can be unlocked by entering a hidden code with the remote to get the player to Region 0/ALL.

Hmm.. After I buy it I will. It's really just something I'd watch on my computer anyway.. Kind of a secret hobby liking the series. My family sometimes has harsh criticism so I keep some things to myself.. ^^;

Which footage was cut? I have the Deluxe Edition (Region 2) but haven't watched that particular disc in quite a while.

just about 2 minutes of footage, not major footage but it's noticeable and makes the film seem a little more faster pace than calm

That's very odd indeed. My standard and Deluxe copies both check in at 88 minutes for the main feature. I've just checked the BBFC website for the original certification details of each version, and the running times they give are:

VHS (1987) 87m 59s
DVD (standard, Feb 2005) 87m 59s
DVD (Deluxe, Jun 2005) 88m 4s

The standard DVD was just a straight transfer of the (grotty) VHS print, so it's unsurprising that the running times are identical... but the Deluxe one is, at least officially, a few seconds longer! If your copy is missing two minutes, I can only suggest it's a faulty disc -- especially as I don't remember anyone else noticing what you have.

There's apparently a link on TPB for a 720p English remastered version on Blu Ray format. 23/8 SE.

What we want is the commentary that the Aussies got on their R4 DVD. It's well worth it, but postage from there costs a fortune. =:/

Ironic thing is... aussies hate rabbits... and they're the one to get the commentary... lol
