Watership Down Blu-ray

Apparently... it was released by Warner Home Video on October 15th, 2010.

Germany only! WTF!
The Blu-ray disc does have the original English audio track on it...
This is not the Deluxe or 25th Anniversary Edition, either. There are no real extras, just like the original DVD release.
Warner better frickin' release that Blu-ray in the US... with as many extras as possible... *bangs head on desk*

Log in with your US Amazon account and order as usual.
I ordered mine on April 7th, 2006. Since that time the price of this boxset has dropped to only 42% of what I paid. I think you will only pay around $39.84 US presently.
Keep in mind that this box set is Region 2 and will only play in DVD players that are unlocked. Many US DVD players can be unlocked by entering a hidden code with the remote to get the player to Region 0/ALL.
If you plan on playing these back on your computer I would recommend AnyDVD. http://www.slysoft.com/en/anydvd.html
This is what I did. :3

Wow, it sure has some terribad reviews.. Mine works fine though, never had any problems with it.. o_O
I haven't found your exact model yet, but perhaps one of these will work for you.
I just ended up torrenting every WSD episode~ :D
only two extras on the dvd, but the pros do not outweigh the cons
i noticed this with the vhs version, which has longer pans and musical score
VHS (1987) 87m 59s
DVD (standard, Feb 2005) 87m 59s
DVD (Deluxe, Jun 2005) 88m 4s
The standard DVD was just a straight transfer of the (grotty) VHS print, so it's unsurprising that the running times are identical... but the Deluxe one is, at least officially, a few seconds longer! If your copy is missing two minutes, I can only suggest it's a faulty disc -- especially as I don't remember anyone else noticing what you have.
