Well, looks like I'm finally moving out of home!

I'm going to rent a townhouse with a good friend of mine, offically will be accepting after we have viewed the place. It's my friends Aunt's investment property so we are getting a pretty sweet deal on it.

Mum and Dad are worried/excited for me. They are already helping me find things I need to move in, promising me certain items of furniture (I get the bookshelf - SO HAPPY!) and making it perfectly clear that if anything happens I can come home.

My friend and I are totally excited. It's her first time out of home too. Though I will have to get used to finding dismembered body parts in the kitchen (she does special effects makeup), paint items in the garden (she's also a painter) and her using the livingroom for cutting material (and a costume designer - all in her spare time!).

Might be participating in a open mic night soonish. Met this really REALLY talented guitarist who's totally willing to back me. We shall see!

Looking into Uni's now. Hoping that there is a spot for midyear entry for studying teaching! New career path, here I come!
