For me, a test of a friend isn't necessarily how often they stay in touch. I've met some people I consider friends, and we don't talk for long stretches of time, but when we do, we pick up instantly from where we last left off. Dynamics are a bit different on IMs though, since I tend to wander off and idle.

I haven't commented on your stuff in a while because after a move earlier in the year my finances have been upside down and I've generally been otherwise occupied.

It could be a few things bud. Some of my friends from my old school are a little awkward for me to talk to because I've not seen them for so long, and I'm sure it's the same for them. An out-of-the-loop kind of thing. It could also be that they feel bad for your situation with living in your Jeep for however long that was, and they're just not sure how to approach you at the moment.

Forgive me if any of that seems offensive, it's a difficult subject to put nicely, y'know?

Sometimes yes and no. There some people I just don't talk to on a regular basis but when we do we pick up where we left off.

Everyone I know locally is like that- unless they need a ride or something.

Its F*CK YOU ALLLLLL MONTH til they need something. Then its like, "Hey how you doing? Kids doing well? Good. Btw can I get a ride?" type shit.

I just keep to myself anyways, less problems less headache less drama.
