Yes, it's so terribly interesting to listen to the same bass patch layered over the same drum loop WUBWUBWUBBING in the same pattern as every other dubstep song. :p
Anyways, just to make a point that it doesn't sound the same. Now, if it doesn't appeal to you, that's one thing, and that's cool. (Depressing, but cool XD)
The inception remix sounded a lot like D&B to me rather than dubstep.
The Pendulum song definitely has a wobble bass, but it's definitely infinitely more interesting to listen to so it can't be dubstep.
I enjoyed both of these, but it's not something I'm going to actively seek out more of.
And yes, you're right, I don't like the last one. Because, surprise, it sounds like every other dubstep song I've heard ever.
Yea, the Inception remix is way too slow and empty to be DnB. That tends to be like 140 BPM. It's cool, to each his own. But there's a lot a of crap dubstep floating out there, I'd just say try to not judge it on it's weakest links.
Any genre with such a high ratio of crap-to-good can't be a good genre, I'm sorry. Not to mention this "good" dubstep still sounds incredibly similar to everything else.
...I think every genre has a high ratio of crap to good. lol Unfortunate, but the truth of the matter. I can't think of one genre that I haven't heard more things I don't care about than I do care about.
This might be true, but I'm pretty sure that dubstep has consistently disappointed me more often than other genres of music that I listen to.
Then again, we're just going off of our own tastes here. I don't actually hate you for liking dubstep, but that still doesn't mean it's a good genre of music.
I would also like to note that since pretty much all dubstep sounds comically similar, it makes little to no difference whether or not I judge it by its weakest or strongest links.
'since pretty much all dubstep sounds comically similar...'
I've heard that said, and actually said it myself about all sorts of genres... and I think really it comes down to knowing the nuances of each genre.
Which of course, requires caring about the genre in the first place. So the way you feel about dubstep is the way I feel about country. Which, kinda makes me want to find a way to bridge the gap, as I'm sure some avid country listener would want to with me. That being said, I'm getting that we're both people who stick to our guns, so probably not much use to it. :D

(As always, all dubstep requires massive sub bass to appreciate it)
