For those of you who hate inking.

I'm one of them! I hate how long it can take. You sketch it out, clean it up, only to draw over it again. It's booooring. Slow. And you end up either erasing a lot, or using that familiar ctrl-z. (ILU ctrl-z) However. After randomly deciding to try a different method of coloring, I've fallen in love with doing everything on one layer.
Sketch. Color. Details. 90% of it on one layer. (with the exception of maybe some minor details/effects.. and maybe a background)
It's a lot of fun to blend it all up and make it all smooth. I don't know why I didn't try this earlier. Sure it takes longer than inking, but I'm enjoying it a heck of a lot more, and the result speaks for itself.
Give it a try! If you hate inking.. try something else for a change. Maybe just clean your sketch up really nice and color on a different layer. Sometimes it doesn't turn out half bad, even if it's not perfect. It's a great way to toss an idea onto paper without getting fed up with it.
(Almost done with this school semester! One more exam on wednesday and then I'm done for a few weeks until the summer semester starts up :])

I seriously feel like 50% of the inking process is finding a pen that you like.
